To register: In order to register, you must complete a registration-by-mail form, available at most County buildings, city halls, fire stations, libraries, state motor vehicle offices, post offices, at the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Norwalk headquarters, or by calling the Voter Registration Request Line 800-481-VOTE (8683). Registration forms and assistance are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Tagalog and Korean. To verify your voter registration status or for information on where to vote, visit the Los Angeles County Registrar/Recorder's website at www.lavote.net. An online voter registration form is available at the Secretary of State's web site at www.sos.ca.gov/elections/elections_vr.htm. You may request temporary or permanent Absentee status on your registration form. Voter registration is permanent. However, you should re-register if you have moved, wish to change your political party affiliation, or have changed your name. Beverly Hills General Municipal Elections are conducted in the City of Beverly Hills on the first Tuesday in March of odd-numbered years.
