Places of Worship

Here in Los Angeles, many faiths are represented in the community, including Roman Catholic and Protestant, the second largest Jewish population in the USA, Mormons, Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists, among others. The process of finding the right church, synagogue, mosque, or temple may be as simple as choosing a grocer for some, yet very personal and complex for others. Different ideas and practices are of course offered at different places of worship; some of historic or architectural significance, some renowned for their strong outreach programs, others for making people feel at home.

There are many sources which can assist in your search, including simply looking in the Yellow Pages under the specific denomination.
