Beverlywood is a lovely, incorporated community of tree-lined streets bordering the  

Hillcrest Country Club and just moments from Beverly Hills, Century City and one of the entertainment industry's largest studios. Development of the area started in 1940 (when homes were priced at $8,500) and most of the approximately one thousand single-family homes were built in the 1950s. Houses and landscaping are meticulously maintained and the trees on some streets are large enough to form a shady canopy over the road. Near the neighborhood’s commercial corridors – Pico, Robertson and La Cienega Boulevards – condominiums provide easy access to adjacent Beverly Hills as well as to the scores of nearby delicatessens, bakeries, coffee shops and lively ethnic restaurants.
