OceanAire was once the home of actor William Holden, who invested in its construction and tailored the 11,000-square-foot penthouse as his own residence. Designed by world-renowned architect A. Quincy Jones and built in 1963, OceanAire was fully renovated in 2001 by Santa Monica's aARTS Architecture and the Pardee Construction Company of San Diego.
