Once a cozy cluster of shops known as “Westwood Village,” Westwood is today a “mini-Manhattan” (Los Angeles Times) of bustling boutiques, movie theaters, restaurants, museums, and ultra-desirable office highrises surrounding the verdant UCLA campus. Formerly part of 3,000-acre Wolfskill Farm, the area was developed by the Janss Investment Co. starting in the 1920s. Its eminently walkable streets draw day and nighttime crowds of local residents, students, and Los Angeles visitors.

Claiming two of Los Angeles’ most desirable zip codes – 90024 and 90049 – and adjacent to Brentwood, Bel Air, West Los Angeles, Century City, and the luxurious Wilshire Corridor, Westwood also offers easy access to the freeways leading to downtown Los Angeles, the beach, and the San Fernando Valley. The UCLA campus is itself a cultural hub, presenting a year-round schedule of theatre, music, art and educational events open to the public.
